OU Football Kickoff Times Are Here
Welcome back to Sooner Lounge, a one-stop shop for Oklahoma football fans.
Football season is on the horizon. Sure, it’s still a couple of months away, but there is a buzz in the air.
Soon, fall camp will arrive, followed closely by the season itself.
Until then, pundits will continue to fire off their predictions and bold takes and occasional news will be released.
For the SEC, kickoff times for the season have been revealed, which means Oklahoma has an almost filled-out schedule, excluding a few flex time slots.
Here’s an updated look at the Sooners’ schedule for the 2025 season.
OU football’s 2025 schedule
8/30 vs. Illinois State - 5:00 p.m.
9/6 vs. Michigan - 6:30 p.m.
9/13 @ Temple - 11:00 a.m.
9/20 vs. Auburn - Flex*
10/4 vs. Kent State - 3:00 p.m.
10/11 vs. Texas - 2:30 p.m.
10/18 at South Carolina - 11:00 a.m. OR noon
10/25 vs. Ole Miss - 11:00 a.m. OR noon
11/1 @ Tennessee - Flex*
11/15 @ Alabama - Flex*
11/22 vs. Missouri - 11:00 a.m.
11/29 vs. LSU - Flex*
*Flex guarantees the games won’t be played at 11:00 a.m., ensuring afternoon or evening contests. All times central.
The Sooners could have just two 11:00 a.m. home games, too, with both coming in the colder months. For attendees, this is considerably good news.
Overall, there isn’t much to complain about for OU fans. Plenty of flex times are available, but the release could have been worse for the Sooners. There’s a shot at prime-time games against marquee SEC teams.
Leaving those late-season TV slots flexed could allow the Sooners to play on the biggest stage against Tennessee, Alabama and LSU, assuming all teams involved are high seeds and in contention for the College Football Playoff.
Fans can now start planning their travel, lodging and overall schedule for this fall in advance.
